In doubt about the size?

In a nursery, it is nice to have it come out from under something, such as a bed or dresser. Loft and Round are both often used for this. Do you have a small living room and want to leave it in one place? City is good for this. Do you have a large living room, or do you fold it up after playing and like to take it to friends or family? Choose the size Loft. They are easy to fold up and take with you for visits, weekends away or outdoors.

How soft are the play mats?

The play mats are padded so they are nice and soft to play on. However, they remain firm enough to drive cars over and roll balls over and are therefore with 15mm thickness not as thick as, for example, a playpen rug. This also makes them much easier to clean. When your child is just starting to roll, it can be nice to temporarily put something extra under them, this is usually not necessary but will depend on your subfloor.

What material are the play mats made of?

Both the outside and inside are made of recycled polyester. Polyester is wrinkle-free, quick drying, can be easily cleaned and does not require hot washing. It is anti-allergenic and therefore bacteria cannot multiply in it. The polyester inner stuffing is the same fabric used for stuffed toys and pillows and is safe for children. The edges are made of organic cotton.

What is the best way to clean the play mat?

Dirt: You can easily shake off most of the dirt as well as vacuum it well. Put a nozzle on the vacuum cleaner mouth and remove any lint or dirt. An (automatic) vacuum cleaner has no problem moving over the play mat.

Stains: Stains can be brushed off fairly easily with a wet cloth or possibly a soapy water. In addition, rings will not appear when drying because the material dries quickly. The colors and material are very strong so it can be washed well.

Washing machine: The play mat can be washed in the washing machine. Because it does not roll as efficiently in the washing machine in terms of size, we recommend doing this only when necessary. Make sure your washing machine is large enough, in which case it can be washed at 30 degrees. Do not use a fabric softener. For best results, you can take the playmat to the dry cleaner.

What should I do if a stitching comes loose? Each play mat is meticulously stitched together using a quilting machine. This sews the non-slip underside to the top layer with the filling in between. This process is extremely precise and the margin of error is virtually zero. Nevertheless, it is possible that a stitching may come loose or loosen during use. A playmat of 150x200cm contains approximately 46,000 stitches. You can imagine that one time a stitch can come loose, which is part of normal use. In that case it is important to fix the stitching before using the playmat to prevent further loosening.
